Zurich, January 20, 2014 - The Swiss Wealth Management boutique Falcon Private Bank proudly announces the recent launch of the Twelve-Falcon Insurance Opportunities Fund. The dynamic catastrophe bond fund in UCITS format is managed by the Zurich-based investment specialist manager Twelve Capital and complements the institutions' offering in the field of Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) comprising conservative and balanced funds as well as bespoke mandates.
With the Twelve-Falcon Insurance Opportunities Fund, Falcon Private Bank - a pioneer in the Cat Bond fund industry - has introduced a new dynamic investment opportunity to the market.
In 2005, Falcon Private Bank already launched the Falcon Cat Bond Fund as a conservative entry point to the world of Cat Bonds, followed by the balanced Twelve-Falcon Insurance Linked Strategy Fund (UCITS) in 2010, which is well established with USD 180mn assets. The Twelve-Falcon Insurance Opportunities Fund is the most dynamic Cat Bond investment concept by Falcon Private Bank and successfully completes the offer of low-correlation investment opportunities. The fund offers a flexible scheme for allocation.
The Twelve-Falcon Insurance Opportunities Fund will be managed by Twelve Capital. The investment manager - focusing on insurance-related investments - is completely independent in its fund asset allocation.
