Coast Capital Savings Lights Up the Sky for the 2014 Canada Day Fireworks Show at Canada Place

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - June 25, 2014) - Completing the festivities of Canada's 147^th birthday is the awe-inspiring Coast Capital Savings Fireworks Show at Canada Place at 10:30 p.m. A two-barge simultaneous pyrotechnic extravaganza will light up the sky over Vancouver, North Vancouver and West Vancouver.

This year's fireworks show is sponsored by Coast Capital Savings, The Department of Canadian Heritage, Hudson's Bay, Port Metro Vancouver, Seaspan, City of Vancouver, Downtown Vancouver Business Association, District of West Vancouver, Shaw, Vancity Buzz and Classic Rock 101.

One barge will be located in Coal Harbour and a second barge will be located by Dundarave in West Vancouver.

The 25-minute fireworks show will be simulcast on CFMI Classic Rock 101 and the "PortMetroVan" app for Google & iOs devices. The fireworks show will also be broadcast live on Shaw TV.

The Hudson's Bay Fireworks Viewing Zone at Canada Place provides unobstructed views of the fireworks, live entertainment and easy access to washrooms. Kids five and under are free if accompanied by an adult. Buy your tickets today to the Hudson's Bay Fireworks Viewing Zone, located along the Canada Place West Promenade.
