Marcia Wagner Welcomes Stephen Rosenberg to The Wagner Law Group & Names David Gabor as Partner


BOSTON, July 21, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Marcia Wagner, the Managing Director of The Wagner Law Group, announces that Stephen Rosenberg, one of New England's premier ERISA and labor litigators, has joined the firm as Of Counsel. "Steve adds incredible depth and breadth to our ERISA litigation practice," says Ms. Wagner.

Mr. Rosenberg is an experienced ERISA and business disputes lawyer, with substantial expertise in ERISA litigation, ERISA governed benefit plans, fiduciary obligations, plan regulation, ESOPs, top-hat plans and class action law suits. He has litigated a wide range of denial of benefit, breach of fiduciary duty, and class action cases in state courts, federal district courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. Mr. Rosenberg's vast experience also includes representing company benefit plans, plan sponsors and employers. Mr. Rosenberg is a frequent contributor to national publications and has given speeches for a multitude of organizations. He is the author of the Boston ERISA and Insurance Litigation Blog, twice named a Top Law Blog by Lexis/Nexis.

Ms. Wagner also announces that David Gabor, formerly Of Counsel to the firm, has been named a Partner, effective August 1st. He will head the employment and labor law department, as well as the litigation department working closely with Mr. Rosenberg. "David is incredible with clients," begins Ms. Wagner. Mr. Rosenberg will be joined by his associate, Caroline Fiore, with whom he has had a multi-decade working relationship. Ms. Fiore is a commercial and regulatory lawyer with extensive experience in administrative law, commercial litigation, insurance, class action, Chapter 93A, employee benefits and ERISA disputes. She has in-depth experience working on class action and other cases involving breach of fiduciary duty and denial of benefit claims under ERISA, including under 401(k), employee stock ownership and disability plans.
