Vancouver Acupuncturist Denise DuPree Joins Back and Neck Chiropractic

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 12, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Back and Neck Chiropractic announced that Vancouver acupuncturist Denise DuPree has joined the practice. DuPree is Nationally Board Certified (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture and licensed to practice in both Washington and Oregon. She has completed advanced training in IVF treatments and acupuncture during pregnancy. She believes in an integrated approach to care that combines acupuncture with complementary therapies such as massage therapy, physical therapy, herbs and nutrition, depending on a patient's unique pain management, injury rehabilitation and wellness needs. DuPree has experience using acupuncture to treat neurological disorders, digestive disorders, and numerous chronic health conditions.

Vancouver acupuncturist Denise DuPree is now practicing at Back and Neck Chiropractic. DuPree has been practicing acupuncture for 15 years. She holds a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and completed advanced training at Helping Yi Yuan Hospital in Tianjin, China.

At Back and Neck Chiropractic, she will provide care for a wide variety of conditions including pregnancy/fertility treatments, neurological conditions (e.g., sciatica), chronic health conditions (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure), kidney stones, thyroid disorders, chronic fatigue, digestive disorders and food/environmental sensitivities, and chronic and acute pain conditions.

"I am thrilled to partner with Back and Neck Chiropractic and provide enhanced acupuncture treatment capabilities for their practice," said DuPree. "From chronic pain management to environmental sensitivities, acupuncture can truly have a profound impact on an individual's health. It is a natural complement to chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, physical therapy and nutrition counseling. I look forward to forming a long-term partnership with the practice and providing an elevated level of service to their patients."

In addition to pain management, chronic health conditions and injury rehabilitation, DuPree also provides acupuncture treatments for women's health issues. This includes menstrual concerns, fertility concerns, pregnancy, menopause, post-partum depression, and labor/delivery.

"Acupuncture offers a number of health benefits for women, including fertility" said DuPree. "Women often come to me saying that they've tried everything but that nothing is working. For many women, acupuncture for fertility concerns opens them up to the possibilities of acupuncture for enhancing other aspects of their health."

In 2000, DuPree received her Masters in Acupuncture from the Seattle, Washington based Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NIAOM). Following her graduation, she worked at Helping Yi Yuan Hospital for two years, studying acupuncture, herbs and the Taoist meditation/exercise technique Qi Gong.

"I focus on establishing a personal relationship with each patient," said DuPree. "I consider myself a partner in the patient's journey towards better health. My goal is to help a patient's body return to a state of ease, rather than 'dis-ease'. By taking the time to really know each patient, I am able to provide personalized care that can truly make a difference for their health."
