OMAHA, Neb., May 5, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Infogroup announced today results from its independent Consumer Database audit for data accuracy and data quality. Infogroup's Consumer Database compares favorably to four other data providers according to a blind study performed by the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) College of Information Science and Technology (IS &T).
The study evaluated eight data elements across all five providers to determine accuracy and quality of the information. To measure the accuracy of each company's household demographics, the study used the "voice of the consumer" by conducting live telephone surveys with a representative sample.
Only Infogroup and one other provider received rankings of first or second across all of the elements evaluated. Infogroup ranked first in age, marital status, presence of children and home value.
"We take pride in our customer-centric service model, the completeness and accuracy of our data assets, and the cost effective multi-channel solutions available for both retention and acquisition marketing campaigns," said Mike Iaccarino, Chairman and CEO of Infogroup. "Our clients find that this combination drives the best overall experience and the best business results for their marketing programs."
