CFNU to release results of study on nurses' overtime tomorrow

New study by Jacobson Consulting Inc. on nurses' overtime and absenteeism


HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, June 2, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions will release a new study by Jacobson Consulting Inc. tomorrow on the costs and impact of absenteeism and the paid and unpaid overtime worked by Canadian nurses.

The report will support CFNU's calls for safe nurse staffing levels and indicate the costs of absenteeism and overtime worked by nurses.

CFNU's 17th Biennial Convention, one of the largest gatherings of nurses in Canadian history, is taking place this week at the Halifax World Trade and Convention Centre. More than 1,000 nurses from across Canada are participating in the event.
