Zurich, July 30, 2015 - Falcon Private Bank has reached an agreement with the US Department of Justice (DOJ) regarding the Swiss Bank Program.
Falcon Private Bank has reached an agreement in category 2 of the Swiss Bank Program with the US Department of Justice. Following a productive dialogue, a Non-Prosecution Agreement was signed today, enabling the Bank to finally resolve the US tax topic.
By signing the NPA, Falcon Private Bank settles its US tax related liabilities with the DOJ and pays USD 1.8 million. This payment will not affect the 2015 result, as appropriate provisions were already made in previous years.
