Since coming on-board, he's wasted no time getting to know his staff and local business leaders and now he's serving on Minnesota's CAI (Community Associations Institute) social committee.
The social committee organizes community management industry events, fundraisers, seminars and other CAI activities statewide involving chapter members.

Govang has been with Associa since 2001 as a community manager, vice president and most recently the chief operating officer of the Michigan branch. He's been in the community management industry for more than 25 years and has earned his Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®), Association Management Specialist (AMS®), and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designations from the Community Associations Institute (CAI). Govang holds a bachelor's degree from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
