Quality Magazine's Company and Plant of the Year Awards to Be Presented at The Quality Show

ROSEMONT, IL--(Marketwired - Sep 1, 2015) - The Quality Show, the only trade show focused exclusively on quality education, technology, equipment, and products, is excited to announce the presentation of two prestigious awards honoring the Company & Plant of the Year, as well as three webinars at the trade show and conference taking place October 27-29, 2015 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

Quality Magazine first awarded the Plant of the Year Award in 2005. The award recognizes companies that have reduced scrap, rework, warranty, and manufacturing costs; improved productivity or cycle time; increased capacity; and/or improved adherence to quality standards. This year's winner of the Plant of the Year Award is Clickenbeard.

The Professional of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated the commitment and vision in supporting the development and growth of the quality field. This year's winner of the Professional of the Year Award is T.M. Kubiak, Founder & President, Performance Improvement Solutions. Both of these awards will be presented during the keynote presentation on the morning of Wednesday, October 28 from 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m.

In addition to the conference sessions, exhibiting companies, and presentations, three webinars will be offered on Wednesday, October 28^th for industry professionals who are unable to attend the show.

• Reduce Operator Influence on Inspection in Production Session will discuss how quickly and reliably obtaining ISO-compliant, traceable and reproducible inspection results in production should be the goal of all manufacturers. In production environments, optical and contact CNC coordinate measuring machines are increasingly replacing manual equipment in order to accomplish this objective. Yet, with existing technologies, operators can still accidentally cause systematic measurement errors just by selecting the wrong settings and not even notice them. Learn how to use newly developed automated, intelligent measuring systems and techniques to overcome these potential problems and turn production inspection into a fast, simple matter.
