Ringling College Willis Smith Gallery Presents Photography & Film Constructs On View from March 5 - April 2, 2016

SARASOTA, Fla., Feb. 25, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ringling College of Art and Design's Willis Smith Gallery is pleased to present Photography & Film Constructs, opening March 4 from 4:30-7:00 pm during the campus-wide ArtWalk. The exhibition features artists whose concepts are manifest in photography and film-based media.

According to Mark Ormond, Curator of the exhibition, "Each artist in this exhibition approaches creating a single image or composite film or video in a different way. The artist may construct a fiction involving a person, objects in a setting, a location and/or narrative, in each case challenged to address purely formal issues as well, while creating an invented image."
