TORONTO, Feb. 25, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) announced today that its AMI-audio channel will be launching a new comedy show in March.

An AMI-audio exclusive, Double Exposure's Newzapalooza is a take on the original Canadian radio comedy, Double Exposure, which was popular in the 1980's. Hosted by comedic duo Linda Cullen and Bob Robertson, Double Exposure was known for its narration and mockery toward politics, current affairs and well-known Canadian and international figures.

"Double Exposure's Newzapalooza will include everything listeners enjoyed from the original radio show," explains Joe Lamanna, Manager of National Programming for AMI-audio. "The program will be a great addition to the recently updated AMI-audio lineup and we're excited to bring Linda and Bob back to the microphone to share their satirical view of the world around us. "

Premiering Friday, March 4, Double Exposure's Newzapalooza will air every Friday at 1 p.m. ET, with an encore presentation at 7 p.m. Check your local listings for the AMI-audio channel in your area or listen live by visiting amiaudio.ca.
