Beleave Research Project Awarded Grant From the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, and Beleave Opens Online Store


TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - March 29, 2016) - Beleave Inc. (CSE: BE) (the "Corporation" or "Beleave") is pleased to announce that a $25,000 Engage grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) has been awarded for a collaborative research project between Dr. Lesley Campbell, associate professor for Ryerson University's Department of Chemistry and Biology, and Beleave's wholly-owned subsidiary First Access Medical Inc. ("FAM"). The NSERC-funded research which will be carried out at Ryerson University, and aims to develop high quality medicinal cannabis extracts. These funds will help cover research salaries and other research costs for a 6 month period beginning March 31, 2016.

All intellectual property stemming from the NSERC-funded research will belong to Beleave, and is the first of many planned research collaborations Beleave will be pursuing to develop high quality cannabis-based medicines to meet specifically identified medicinal needs.
