WEST JORDAN, UT--(Marketwired - May 30, 2016) - Local LPL Financial Advisor Brian Urie has earned the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation. Plan advisors who earn their CPFA demonstrate the expertise required to act as a plan fiduciary or help plan fiduciaries manage their roles and responsibilities. To receive the designation, Urie completed an educational program and exam covering federal law and standards of conduct for those who manage qualified retirement plans.
"The CPFA designation was developed by some of the nation's leading advisors and retirement plan experts," said Urie. "With there being more than 10,000 licensed financial professionals in Utah alone, I want our community to be clear about my knowledge, expertise and commitment to working with retirement plans."
Urie is a financial advisor at LPL Financial at Mountain America Credit Union throughout Utah. He has been helping clients achieve their financial goals for 17 years.
