Central Animal Hospital Announces New Staff Addition, Veterinarian Dr. Andrew Olinzock

SCARSDALE, N.Y., July 10, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dr. Andrew Olinzock, DVM, will join the practice, shares Central Animal Hospital. Dr. Andrew Olinzock, graduate of Cornell University with a veterinary degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, will become the ninth veterinarian to join the health care team as Central Animal Hospital expands to better serve the needs of pets and their owners. The team is excited about having Dr. Andrew Olinzock come aboard and welcomes his expertise and insight on emergency care, surgery and pediatrics in animals.

While attending veterinary school, Dr. Olinzock gained experience at several veterinary practices, and has a special interest in emergency and critical care, surgery and pediatrics. In addition, Dr. Olinzock provided community service as he treated pets at Tech Community Veterinary Clinic, a low-cost facility that cares for the critically underserved pets among the neediest communities in the Boston area. He understands the concerns of pet owners as he is one himself, caring for his nine-year-old husky mix, Lucy.

“I am excited at the prospect of joining the expanding veterinary team at Central Animal Hospital and serving the pets and pet owners in and around the Scarsdale area,” said Dr. Olinzock. “As a veterinarian and pet owner, I know first-hand how important emergency and critical care services are to pets, in addition to regular exams and continual quality care. I look to provide effective veterinary service to all pets, including exotic and pocket pets. Patients at Central Animal Hospital will benefit from the expansion in knowledge and collaboration of all nine veterinarians and staff.”
