Mark Perkins joins Kimbia as Chief Executive Officer

Perkins joins Kimia to bring a new focus on operating the business, and executing and enabling Kimbia's customers to build deeper relationships with their donors


AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kimbia, a leading provider of online fundraising solutions and crowdfunding events, announced that the board of directors has appointed Mark Perkins as Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. As the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Perkins brings a new focus on operating the business, and executing and enabling Kimbia's customers to build deeper relationships with their donors. Kimbia enhances donor relationships for nonprofits, universities and community foundations by helping them engage new donors and increase total donations through every day giving, peer-to-peer fundraising and crowdfunding events. Perkins has been pivotal in helping companies focus on customer care and support, developing market leadership, and implementing best practices and process evaluation and improvement. Perkins holds both a BBA and MBA degree from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business. He is recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit and embraces opportunity with expanding companies. A long-time resident of the Austin-area, Perkins enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife of 30 years and three adult sons.
