Delegation Representing Six South Korea Media Outlets to Tour Facility, Conduct Interviews


PENETANGUISHENE, ON--(Marketwired - August 26, 2016) -

WHAT: A delegation representing six media outlets from South Korea are travelling to Penetanguishene to learn more about the cutting-edge microgrid technology PowerStream and its partner, the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), launched in June 2016, which currently provides several hours of backup power supply for approximately 400 area customers.

The delegation will first be welcomed by Mayor Gerry Marshall and other officials from the municipality in council chambers at the Penetanguishene Townhall before moving on to tour the microgrid facility, which is located adjacent to PowerStream's Robert Street Municipal Substation on Robert Street, just east of the town's Main Street.
