Hamilton Special Showing Raises $4 Million to Benefit Robin Hood

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - September 19, 2016) - On Monday September 19, the cast of Hamilton, winner of 11 Tony Awards, will put on a special show to benefit Robin Hood, New York's largest poverty-fighting organization. Ticket sales raised more than $4 million for Robin Hood, which funds and creates more than 200 of the most effective anti-poverty programs in New York City. The audience will include Robin Hood donors and representatives of Robin Hood-funded nonprofits.

Thanks to the generosity of Robin Hood's donors, 500 children and chaperones from Robin Hood's grantee organizations -- including afterschool programs, homeless shelters, foster care programs, schools and others -- will get the opportunity to see Hamilton at no cost.
