CBTS Announces Acquisition of SunTel Services


CINCINNATI, Feb. 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CBTS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell (NYSE:CBB) and leading technology provider, today announced the acquisition of SunTel Services.

SunTel Services is a regional provider of network security, data connectivity, and unified communications solutions based in Troy, Michigan. Following the close of the transaction, SunTel’s co-founders Gary Jackson and Don Jackson will continue to lead the organization and will also spearhead CBTS’ expansion in the Michigan market. This transaction will expand CBTS’ presence in the Midwest, building on its existing sales offices in Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis and Louisville.

The transaction is not subject to regulatory approval, and is expected to close in the next 30 days.
