JETRO Presents 13 Japanese Companies in Two Pavilions at 2017 International Home + Housewares Show


CHICAGO, March 09, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), the organizer of the Japan Pavilion at the International Home and Housewares Show (IH+HS), is pleased to introduce the best of Japanese design and innovation for the sixth time at the world's premier housewares show, at Chicago's McCormick Place from March 18-21. 

There will be 13 companies, including 6 new participants represented in two Japan Pavilions. Exhibiting in the pavilion in the North Building:  OHASHI (N7941), SUNLIFE CO., LTD. (N7942), Kirihara Works & Design (N7943), Sugatakatachi (N7944), DRAW A LINE (N7945), Toyo-Sasaki Glass Co., Ltd. (N8041), Minatoya/Satto (N8043 & N8044), SAN-EI FAUCET MFG. CO., LTD. (N8045). Those exhibiting in the South Building: Kodai Sangyo (S868), AndYu CO., LTD. (S869), TAKENAKA (S968), MacMa Co., Ltd. (S969), Prairiedog America (S970).

This is the fifth time that JETRO will organize two pavilions in order to accommodate the exhibitors and the vast array of products they have to offer. Visitors to both pavilions will be able to view firsthand, a variety of "Made in Japan" home goods items that combine technologies from traditional, modern, and the ancient culture of Japan. Products include traditional chopsticks, superior designed bento boxes, beautiful tableware, artisan glassware, and woodenware to modern products that apply advanced Japanese technology to bring you eco-friendly, stylish, smart gadgets and housewares.

DISCOVER DESIGN EXPO (North Building)
The North Pavilion (N8042) will feature unique design focused products.  These exhibitors are carefully selected by the industry professionals, proudly presenting their products ranging from high-tech showerheads and accessories, wooden “Masu” boxes used for serving sake, specially designed high-end wooden furniture knobs and coat hangers, to unique HEIAN ROD technology, exquisite glassware, traditional Japanese chopsticks, specially designed 3-D frames and innovative cleaning tools.

DINE + DESIGN EXPO (South Building)
The South Pavilion (S870) will feature products including, handmade grass baskets, specially designed bento boxes, exquisite wood items made from Japanese Cypress, tumblers and eco-friendly reusable bags.
