Calgary, Alberta (April 18, 2017 ) - NOVA Chemicals Corporation (NOVA Chemicals) today announced the appointment of Musabbeh Al Kaabi to its Board of Directors and the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Al Kaabi was recently appointed as chief executive officer of the Petroleum & Petrochemicals platform of Mubadala Investment Company.

Mr. Al Kaabi succeeds Khalifa Al Romaithi who has resigned from the Board of Directors following his appointment as head of Midstream within Mubadala's Petroleum & Petrochemicals platform.
