Save the Children New Zealand Selects MediaValet to Streamline Collaboration

VANCOUVER, BC --(Marketwired - May 24, 2017) - MediaValet Inc. (TSX VENTURE: MVP), a leading provider of cloud-based digital asset management software, is happy to announce that Save the Children New Zealand, an international NGO that promotes children's rights around the world, has selected MediaValet to store and manage their rapidly growing collection of digital assets and streamline collaboration with external partners.

Save the Children has 30 member organisations around the world, working to deliver change for children in around 120 countries. The first branch of Save the Children was established in New Zealand in 1947. Today, Save the Children responds to relieve the suffering of children affected by war and natural disaster, and works to make sure children are healthy, protected and have the opportunity to learn. Sharing real stories from around the world -- through images, videography and case studies -- is crucial to Save the Children achieving its fundraising goals. One of the biggest challenges is being able to collect, organize and manage large volumes of assets from a multitude of sources.

Before MediaValet, Save the Children used multiple local servers, popular online fileshare services and email to organize, store and share their assets. The team found this approach to managing their assets increasingly difficult as the number of photographers and assets they worked with continued to increase. Rights management, version control and tracking were particularly challenging issues for the team.

"MediaValet delivers a solution that is both technically robust and simple to use," commented Gareth Davies, Fundraising Director at Save the Children New Zealand. "No matter who we share assets with or allow to access MediaValet, they'll feel at ease working with our assets. MediaValet makes day-to-day activities a breeze while giving us the peace of mind that our assets are safe and secure at all times."

Save the Children is working towards three key goals ensuring that by 2030, no child dies from preventable causes before the age of 5, all children have the opportunity to learn to read and write and that violence against all children is no longer tolerated in safe environments.

"Productivity, ease of use and security are always top of mind when planning new features and integrations," commented David MacLaren, founder and CEO at MediaValet. "We're delighted to be working with Save the Children New Zealand and to have the chance to help them achieve their 2030 goal."
