The Anesthesia Disinfection Workstation, which includes the new DOCit™ and HubScrub™ disposable sterilization devices, are designed to help organize the anesthesia work space in an operating room. The DOCit device is intended to disinfect and clean syringe tips and male luer connectors, and the HubScrub device is intended to disinfect and clean needleless connectors and stopcocks.

The DOCit device for male luers is designed to organize and protect syringe tips from contamination. The DOCit device scrubs and disinfects male luer tip connectors and needleless syringes with 70 percent isopropyl alcohol (IPA).2 Disinfection of the male luer tip occurs after two 360-degree rotations within 10 seconds.3
The HubScrub device is a female luer disinfector and cleaner with 70 percent IPA. Disinfection of the needleless connector is achieved after two 360-degree rotations within 10 seconds.3 The HubScrub device can provide a microbial barrier to contamination for up to 7 days if not removed.2
