Certify Acquires Corporate Online Booking Tool from nuTravel Technology Solutions to Round Out Travel and Expense Platform

Online booking technology gives Certify the rich features enterprise customers demand, making it a clear alternative to Concur for corporate travel services


PORTLAND, Maine, Sept. 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Leading automated travel and entertainment expense management software provider, Certify, announces the acquisition of the corporate online booking technology platform from nuTravel. The technology purchased from nuTravel will form the basis of a new offering from Certify called Certify Enterprise Travel, which will complement the standard Certify Travel booking application for small business with features ideal for large and midsize companies and their travel management partners.

Certify Enterprise Travel will also allow customers to work with any corporate travel agency as the ticketing provider of choice. In addition, product features and services will provide extended corporate travel management capabilities including advanced travel policy enforcement, extended workflow routing, direct connections to vendors, duty of care functionality, and select supplier inventory for employee use.  

Certify, which has many enterprise customers including H&R Block, Pitney Bowes and Garmin International, now offers a complete in-house solution for travel and expense management for small businesses up to large enterprises, making it a smart alternative to Concur. In May, the company received the highest overall user satisfaction score from review site G2Crowd.com, extending Certify’s winning of this award for the past three years.

Travel management companies (TMCs) can offer Certify Enterprise Travel to their customers, simplifying the T&E management process with an integrated solution covering desktop and mobile users. Certify Enterprise Travel also provides single sign-on capabilities and support for international travelers, including language and currency conversions. This creates a true “end to end” solution in the corporate travel and expense process, allowing the TMC to offer this integrated solution directly to their customers.
