Opengear Names 2018 North American Channel Partner Award Winners

WWT honored as Partner of the Year for success in selling and promoting Opengear solutions; Myriad Supply wins Catalyst Award on strength of exceptional customer engagement

PISCATAWAY, N.J., Feb. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Opengear (www.opengear.com), a leading provider of solutions that deliver secure, resilient network access and automation to critical IT infrastructure, today announced the winners of its annual partner awards. The honors come as Opengear’s North America partner program – which is made up of more than three hundred resellers, integrators, and distributors – saw accelerated participation and revenue growth throughout 2017.

World Wide Technology (WWT), a global provider of innovative technology and supply chain solutions to large public and private organizations, has been recognized as Opengear’s 2018 Partner of the Year. WWT earned this distinction through exceptional year-over-year revenue growth within Opengear’s partner program. The integrator’s success included several key customer account wins, and WWT showed particular acumen by providing Opengear solutions as complementary additions to high-selling product lines such as Cisco and Juniper equipment.

Myriad Supply, a provider of best-of-breed cybersecurity, networking, hybrid cloud, mobility, and SDN solutions, is the winner of Opengear’s 2018 Catalyst Award. The accolade recognizes the partner who has demonstrated the highest growth rate in new business within Opengear’s Premier Partner reseller network. Myriad Supply earned the award for remarkable year-over-year revenue acceleration, exceptionally strong customer engagement through effective marketing campaigns, and attaching sales to complementary product purchases.

In addition to their role as channel partners, both WWT and Myriad Supply have also integrated Opengear’s solutions internally (the former as part of its Advanced Technology Center).

“WWT and Myriad Supply have each seen considerable success as Opengear partners,” said Bryan Keepers, Channel Sales Manager – Americas, Opengear. “These organizations come to the marketplace with a smart understanding of the benefits that Opengear’s products provide for managing critical infrastructure – and they really excel at communicating that value to enterprise customers who need those benefits the most. We congratulate both of these very deserving award-winning partners on their well-earned recognitions, and look forward to our continuing achievements together.”

“It’s an honor for WWT to be named Opengear’s Partner of the Year,” said Kurt Fultz, Vendor Alliance Partner Specialist, WWT. “The remote management solutions that Opengear offers are especially well-suited to the needs of our enterprise customers, delivering the automation and resilience necessary to safeguard networks and keep them up and running no matter what.”

“Our partnership with Opengear continues to be a fruitful one, and we’re proud to have this success recognized with Opengear’s Catalyst Award,” Jeff Chen, Director, Partner Management, Myriad Supply. “We understand that today’s enterprises require intelligent monitoring and out-of-band management of critical IT infrastructure more than ever, and our customers have certainly appreciated having the capabilities that Opengear’s technology provides.”
