CALGARY, Alberta, March 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Servus Credit Union opened its high-tech Panorama Hills branch on Wednesday, and it's unlike any they have opened before. The branch has a staff of financial advisors ready to greet and assist members, and it also features a video ATM and interactive digital display in its Member Lounge. The concept is an advice-based branch, where the emphasis is on shaping members' financial fitness—helping them to feel good about their money.

Members asked Servus to provide easy access and prevent long lines; they want an open environment that also allows for privacy; and they want flexibility and understanding.
With advancements in online and mobile banking, members increasingly visit branches for expert advice. Members using the video ATM will have the support of a representative from Servus's member contact centre, provided through video conferencing technology. The features, services and branch hours were designed specifically to cater to the community around Panorama Hills.
The Member Lounge's interactive wall delivers a unique member experience like no other at Servus. Members will be able to access information about things like Profit Share®, use a demo of the mobile banking app, explore the branch and learn about its features, take surveys, get tips to keep their finances in order, and vote in our board of director elections. In addition to Panorama Hills opening in Calgary, Inglewood Credit Union will officially join Servus Credit Union on March 1, 2018 bringing the number of branches in Calgary to eight.
