Rocking the Supply Chain: Inmar Continues Long Run of Recognition for Excellence

Company Adds Three New Awards to Growing List of Supply Chain Honors

Winston-Salem, NC, June 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inmar, Inc. today announced the company has been recognized with two supply chain awards, and Joe Marcaurelle, Senior Manager of Process Improvement at Inmar, has been named to Food Logistics Magazine’s 2018 Food Logistics Champions: Rock Stars of the Supply Chain list. The three awards not only continue to underline Inmar’s strength in supply chain solutions but also highlights the first-rate employees who serve Inmar’s clients each day.

Marcaurelle was recognized for his work to meet Inmar clients’ specific needs for increased efficiency and cost control. He works with clients to develop automated processing solutions that increase quality, performance and overall improvement in labor costs. Mr. Marcaurelle’s automation solutions improve the capability of handling spikes in demand while keeping labor dependencies under control. In 2017 alone, his work resulted in more than $1 million in cost savings and new efficiencies.

“Joe’s innovative model for facilitating food bank donations has been instrumental in helping improve processing efficiency and data collection,” said Rob Zomok, President, Global Operations at Inmar. “By placing Inmar returns management technology and personnel inside food banks, he has helped streamline food bank and grocer donation operations, and prove that Inmar’s employees are the brightest and most innovative in the business. We congratulate Joe on this recognition and are looking forward to his many years of success at Inmar.”

In corporate recognitions, Inmar was named to Food Logistics Magazine’s Top Green Providers of 2018. This marks the seventh consecutive year that Inmar has received this honor by helping retail and CPG manufacturing clients keep more than 200 million pounds of material from entering landfills. Inmar offers clients a number of dispositions for returned products that keep items from entering the waste stream. When Inmar clients have no other option than to send unsaleable products for destruction, they are only destroyed by companies that generate energy from the destruction process.

Inmar’s third award comes from Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine, which named Inmar to its annual SDCE 100 that highlights 100 great supply chain projects. This is the ninth consecutive year Inmar has received this acknowledgment.

“It’s always exciting to receive public recognition for our efforts, but what really matters to Inmar is when our clients name our solutions as exceptional profit-driving business tools for their business. We are energized when some of the world’s largest retailers and CPG manufacturers choose Inmar as their returns management partner and trust us with an important part of their business. We take pride in being a reliable partner that helps clients adopt sustainability initiatives in innovative ways,” said Mr. Zomok.
