Profit Recovery Partners, LLC’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee Reaches New Milestones

COSTA MESA, Calif., July 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Profit Recovery Partners, LLC (PRP) announced that its Corporate Social Responsibility Committee has raised $175,000 for 9 charities from January 2017 to January 2018, a new fundraising milestone for the company. The total includes contributions from PRP employees as part of the company's Casual for a Cause program.

PRP's Casual for a Cause program began in 2016. Participants in the program elect to make monthly donations to a charity of their choice to dress casually on Fridays. The program has been massively successful, and has resulted in tens of thousands of dollars in charitable contributions to both local and international charities, including the Boys and Girls Club of Central Orange Coast, CureDuchenne, Council on Aging, No Kid Hungry, and Trees.org. Other charities receiving regular contributions from PRP include Keep Memory Alive, Emeril Lagasse Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and All Hands and Hearts.

PRP's CSR Committee also recently completed its second quarterly volunteering event at Orange County's Second Harvest Food Bank, which was held on Saturday, June 16, 2018. During the event, a group of 31 PRP employees helped sort and pack over 6,000 pounds' worth of fresh produce for food-insecure families across Orange County. PRP has enjoyed a long charitable relationship with Second Harvest, and has participated in its holiday season canned food drive every year for the last several years.
