This unit is rated for Class I and II, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous work sites and features a NEMA 56H motor frame that can be installed with industrial systems through an integrated mounting foot and C-face flange.
The EXP-MTR-1P-230-2HP-3.6K-56HC explosion proof motor for flammable work sites is a thermally protected unit capable of generating 3,450 RPM. This unit provides 3 lbs. ft. of torque with 120% locked rotor torque and 250% breakdown torque and is enclosed in a fan-cooled casing. This motor is rated Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D, and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G and is IP55 rated with an ambient temperature rating of 50˚C.
This explosion proof motor comes equipped with aluminum endshields and features Class F insulation with a 1.0 service factor. This unit also includes 24 inches of +2/-0 leads for electrical connections and an aluminum conduit box that requires assembly. The motor’s face features threaded mounting holes for ease of installation.
