This unit is for use in Class I and II, Divisions 1 and 2 rated flammable work sites.
The EXP-MTR-1P-230-2HP-3.6K-56H fractional explosion proof motor is thermally protected and fan cooled, and features a 2 HP motor offering 9.8 full-load amps and 4.4 amps of no-load current. This motor can generate 3,450 RPM and provides 3 lbs. ft. of torque with 120% locked rotor torque and 250% break-down torque.
Larson Electronics’ durable explosion proof motor is rated Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D, and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G. This IP55-rated unit has a NEMA 56H motor frame that can be installed with industrial systems via an integrated mounting foot. This motor features an ambient temperature rating of 50˚C and is equipped with endshields with Class F insulation and a 1.0 service factor.
This motor comes with 24” of +2/-0 leads for electrical connections and an aluminum conduit box that requires assembly. This explosion proof motor is suitable for hazardous locations, industrial facilities, pumps, mixers, conveyors, manufacturing, food processing, chemical plants and more.
