Redwood Living, Inc. Partners with the Arbor Day Foundation to Plant 10,000 Trees Across the Nation

Cleveland, Ohio, Feb. 11, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Redwood Living, Inc. (Redwood), the innovative development and management company known for its single-story apartment homes, has committed to an extended partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees in forests in need across the United States. Redwood initiated this partnership in late 2018, and supported the restoration of critical wildlife habitat in Vinton and Harrison County, Ohio through the planting of 10,000 trees.

“Our company is named after the majestic Redwood tree, and we strive to embody its strength, which comes from the community of redwood trees in the forest,” states Redwood’s Chief People & Operations Officer, Kate Vizmeg. “We hope this partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation will help us further represent our namesake by providing the support for forests and habitats in need of remarkable growth.”

Forests across the nation have been impacted by natural disasters such as wildfires, pests, disease and more, resulting in the destruction of millions of trees across the nation. The Arbor Day Foundation’s designated planting sites will restore critical watersheds, reinstate habitat for threatened and at-risk wildlife species and replant trees where forests will not naturally regenerate.
