In mutual agreement the Supervisory Board and Mr. Van Kempen have reached the conclusion that this circumstance entails that the interest of Wolters Kluwer is served by his resignation. The Board expresses appreciation for the many contributions Mr. Van Kempen has made as a member and Chairman of the Executive Board.
Mr. Robert Pieterse, currently Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, has been appointed Chairman of the Executive Board as of today.
