Information Highway to develop a WAP portal for Telenor Mobil

Telenor Mobil plans to secure a position on the wireless Internet market, which is expected to surge ahead this year. In order to satisfy the robust growth in its user base, it will develop an Internet portal that will be the starting-post and service centre for users of WAP and other wireless Internet units such as PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants).

Martin Hauge, CEO of Information Highway's Norwegian operation, said "it's a great honour for us to be chosen for this crucial strategic assignment, and by a client as demanding as Telenor Mobil. We view this as a sign of the market appreciating our in-depth technology expertise in Internet development."

Over the last two weeks, Information Highway has secured two other multi million-kronor contracts in Norway, signing agreements with business daily Dagens Næringsliv and fund manager Pareto Fondsforvaltning.
