As informed the Copenhagen Stock Exchange on 20 December 1999, release no. 17, Brødrene Hartmann A/S and Finnish Metsä Serla signed a Letter of Intent regarding the Hartmann acquisition of Metsä-Serla's moulded-pulp factory in Vilnius in Lithuania.
Negotiations have been carried on since then, but they have now been adjourned for the time being owing to disagreement between the parties about guarantees relating to environmental issues.
