As announced earlier today to the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, NKT Holding A/S has agreed to sell its subsidiary GIGA A/S for a consideration of USD 1,250m (DKK 9.4bn) to the American company Intel Corporation.
NKT Holding's sale of GIGA will have a considerable positive impact on this year's financial results of Aalborg Portland Holding A/S which controls 35 per cent of the shares in NKT Holding A/S. FLS Industries A/S holds 69 per cent of the share capital of Aalborg Portland Holding A/S.
