An increase in the share capital of Aspo Plc from EUR 8,770,416 to
EUR 17,540,832 through a bonus issue was registered today. A total
of 4,385,208 new shares with a book value of EUR 2 per share were
issued in connection with the bonus issue. This brings the total
number of shares outstanding to 8,770,416.
The company has applied for a listing for the new shares on the
Helsinki Stock Exchange, effective April 19, 2000. The rights and
privileges associated with the new shares will be effective from
the date that the increase in share capital has been registered.
