Nokia delivers WAP solution to Zygo Communications Ltd. in the UK


Nokia is supplying UK ISP operator, Zygo Communications Ltd., with the Nokia WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) solution to enable the delivery of mobile Internet services.

Zygo Communications Ltd., one of the UK's leading online solution and content providers for the Internet and interactive services, will deliver entertainment and lifestyle WAP services targeted at the youth market. Nokia is providing its WAP solution for network operators, the Nokia Artus Messaging Platform, with deliveries starting immediately.
Nokia can offer operators and ISPs what few others in the industry can; a complete end to-end WAP solution, including a WAP portal, gateways, mobile terminals, browsers, tools for WAP-based content creation and delivery, end-user application platforms, and systems integration services. In addition to infrastructure, Nokia Professional Services provides comprehensive service solutions for planning, deploying, managing, and enhancing WAP solutions
