DALLAS, Sept. 14, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- American Realty Investors, Inc. (NYSE:ARL) announced Thursday that its board elected Mark W. Branigan, 46, to serve as a director. With the addition of Branigan, the ARI board has seven members, five of which are independent directors.
