Logicon FDC Achieves HP OpenView Gold-Certified Reseller Status

HERNDON, Va., May 7, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) company, announced today that it has become a Gold-certified reseller of Hewlett-Packard Company's HP OpenView software suite targeted for the federal marketplace. This designation means Logicon FDC, a unit of Logicon Inc., Northrop Grumman's information technology (IT) sector, has increased its level of HP OpenView expertise in both sales and engineering.

The HP OpenView Gold-certified reseller status signifies that Logicon FDC has met HP OpenView criteria, including having at least five consultants certified in at least two of the solutions in the HP OpenView software suite. Additionally, Logicon FDC must offer at least five dedicated/trained sales representatives, a focused marketing business plan and one customer reference account per half-year.

Logicon FDC additionally has established a career path for its engineers to go beyond the baseline certification levels to become HP OpenView Certified Integration experts. Currently, 40 percent of its HP OpenView engineering staff has reached this level, while the rest are certified as HP OpenView Network Management Consultants.
