Nokia supplies broadband access solution to TelecomAsia Corp. in Thailand


Nokia, a leading supplier of broadband DSL access solutions, has supplied its broadband access solutions to TelecomAsia for the launch of TA Express high-speed Internet service in Greater Bangkok, Thailand. The deal represents a new customer for Nokia.

Nokia has supplied its highly cost-efficient and scaleable D50e DSLAM (Digital Subscriber LineAccess Multiplexer), network management solutions and implementation services to allow TelecomAsia to provide fast Internet access services in the densely populated capital city of Bangkok and its hinterland. Under the brand name TA Express, TelecomAsia launched its high-speed Internet connectivity service on 17th July 2001.
