Make a Connection Youth Program Now Online

The International Youth Foundation and Nokia invite you to visit their newly launched website www.makeaconnection.org. Find out online how the global Make a Connection program is impacting young people like Ana, Javier, and Zheng in Brazil, Mexico and China.

Make a Connection is dedicated to promoting youth development, giving young people an opportunity to "make a connection" to their communities, their families and peers, and to themselves. The program, now running in seven countries, improves young people's educational prospects, teaches them life skills and helps them make a positive contribution to their societies.

As Make a Connection's online voice to the world, the site provides background and news on the country programs as well as personal life stories from young program participants. With the proper tools, support, and encouragement, these young people are overcoming barriers and moving towards a more positive future. Makeaconnection.org is a testimony of this.
