Wolters Kluwer completes acquisition of OSRA


OSRA develops tax compliance, general ledger and payroll software for professional tax advisors and small and medium-sized enterprises. Its products are distributed through the Internet, CD-ROMs, and Intranets to more than 15,000 users.
 
This acquisition enables Wolters Kluwer to offer the tax and HR professionals state-of-the-art content via an integrated comprehensive channel for tax, legal and HR information. It is the third acquisition in a short period of a specialized Italian software company. In 2000, Wolters Kluwer acquired QA Sistemi (workflow software tools for legal professionals) and Pragma (tax and financial software for small and medium-sized companies). The companies will be integrated into one software business unit of which also the software operations of Wolters Kluwer's existing business unit IPSOA will be part.
