Northrop Grumman Board Elects Three Corporate Vice Presidents


LOS ANGELES, Aug. 16, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) announced today that its Board of Directors elected three executives as corporate officers of the company.

Robert P. Iorizzo, 60, was recently named president of Northrop Grumman's Electronic Sensors and Systems Sector (ES3), headquartered in Baltimore, Md. He leads the company's largest sector, with annual revenue of approximately $5 billion, 23,000 employees and operations in 18 states, eight countries and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Iorizzo, a 39-year company veteran, has successfully managed numerous operating units involving many of Northrop Grumman's most important programs. Prior to his June 2001 appointment as ES3 president, he had served as vice president and general manager of the sector's Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence and Naval Systems (C3I&N) Division.

Frank G. Brandenberg, 55, is president of the company's Electronic Components and Materials Sector, where he manages eight divisions with more than 5,000 employees in 28 countries. Based in Florham Park, N.J., the sector manufactures commercial electronics and fiber optic components and materials for the telecommunications, networking, industrial, medical and military markets.

Mr. Brandenberg joined the company in 1999. Previously, he served as vice president and general manager of major product groups at Burroughs Corporation and its successor, Unisys Corporation.

Sandra Wright, 46, serves as corporate controller, with company wide responsibility for financial reporting, financial planning, benefit analysis and corporate accounting functions, including developing and administering all corporate policies relating to these areas.

Prior to joining the company in 2000, she spent 15 years at Aerojet, a GenCorp Company, where she held various positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as vice president and controller.
