Heijmans optimistic about the future

The results of Heijmans in 2001 will exceed the previously announced forecast of at least EUR 68 million and amount to EUR 70 million (an increase of over 45% in comparison to 2000), which means a net profit per share of at least EUR 3.27 (an increase of over 32% in comparison to the net profit per share in 2000). The earlier forecast was a net profit per share of EUR 3.20 in 2001.

For the medium term (2006), Heijmans aims to raise the net margin to approximately 5% (now 3%) while doubling the turnover for 2001. Through the acquisition of profitable companies, the turnover will also be realised in surrounding countries. Heijmans expects that the net profit per share will also increase by double digits in the coming years (at least 10% annually).
