HELSINKI, Finland, Dec. 21, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- M.Sc.(Econ) Helena Aatinen has been appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, Metso Corporation (NYSE:MX), as of January 1, 2002. Helena Aatinen will be responsible for internal and external communications, investor communications, their development and media relations. Tarja Kivelae, Senior Vice President, Corporate communications, will transfer to special tasks as Director, Corporate Communications, focusing on the development of the corporate image.
Helena Aatinen and Tarja Kivelae will report to Sakari Tamminen, Executive Vice President and CFO of Metso Corporation.
