ESPOO, Finland, February 26, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- A framework contract has been signed between TietoEnator and the European Commission enabling TietoEnator to provide quality assurance services of information systems and IT processes to the Commission for the next 5 years. The total value of the contract is estimated at 15.77 million Euros.
The aim of the contract between TietoEnator and the European Commission is to enhance the quality of the Commission's IT processes. The frame agreement simplifies the buying of quality assurance services for the different Directorate Generals of the European Commission. The services to be delivered include:
-- Studies on quality matters regarding information systems and IT
processes.
-- Coaching on quality assurance regarding information systems
and IT processes.
-- Quality audits and quality assessments of IT processes.
