Neoware Names IBM Industry Veteran Howard Hunger as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

Hunger has joined the Company as executive vice president to spearhead Neoware's worldwide marketing and business development activities.

Mr. Hunger joins Neoware from IBM, where he most recently was Director of Marketing for IBM's Net Devices group. Mr. Hunger is considered the thin client appliance industry's premiere spokesperson, and he has led industry-wide efforts to evangelize thin client appliance computing. At IBM, Mr. Hunger's responsibilities included worldwide marketing and channel strategy for IBM's thin clients and Internet Appliance products. His expertise includes channel implementation, business partner relationships, marketing communications, and product and brand management.

Mr. Hunger previously served as the Director of Relationship Management within IBM, where he developed programs and established worldwide relationships with independent software vendors. Through the executive level and management positions held during his 33-year tenure, Mr. Hunger has garnered significant industry, application, and software expertise, including developing high-end system software and worldwide application software strategies. Mr. Hunger holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University and has served as a board member for numerous technology associations.
