LUND, Sweden, April 11, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Henrik Holm, founder of the IT company ProAct, has been proposed as a new member of the board of Precise Biometrics.
Henrik Holm was born in 1964 and currently holds a number of board positions, including that of Chairman of the Board of ProAct IT Group AB, an IT company he founded and which is listed on the O-list of the Stockholm Stock Exchange. He has a good deal of experience in the business development of technology companies.
The proposal is backed by some of the company's largest shareholders, who have officially submitted their nomination to the board.
Nils Ljung, who has been a member of the Precise Biometrics board since 1998 has stated that he will not stand for re-election. Other than this, it has been proposed that the composition of the board and the Chairman remain unchanged.
The Annual General Meeting of Precise Biometrics will be held on April 16, 4:00 p.m. at Myntkabinettet in Stockholm, Sweden.
