NEW YORK , April 16, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- A class action complaint has been filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, case number 02-CIV-80323-Middlebrooks, on behalf of all persons or entities who purchased Eagle Buildings Technologies, Inc. ("Eagle" or the "Company") common stock (OTCBB:EGBT) between August 11, 2000 and February 14, 2002, both dates inclusive (the "Class Period"). Eagle, Anthony D'Amato, and Donald Pollock are named as defendants in the action.
The Complaint alleges that defendants violated Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by issuing a series of materially false and misleading statements about the Company's quarterly financial results for the second and third quarters of 2000, its year-end 2000 financial results, and its quarterly financial results for first, second, and third quarters of 2001.
