TietoEnator and Nokia Networks Enhance Their R&D Cooperation in Mobile Core Networks


ESPOO, Finland, April 17, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- TietoEnator and Nokia Networks deepened their R&D cooperation in mobile core network in the autumn of 2001. At the moment TietoEnator has some 350 employees working in this area in Helsinki, Espoo, Tampere, Oulu and Jyvaskyla.

TietoEnator and Nokia Networks have now agreed to enhance their cooperation in the area of mobile core networks. During 2002, more DX 200-related work will be taken over by TietoEnator. TietoEnator will recruit about 100 new software and testing engineers for these new duties by the end of this year.
