STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 25, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telia Mobile and Finnair Oyj (PinkSheets:FNNNF) have signed a partnership agreement with, which Telia will install its WLAN service HomeRun in Finnair's Business Lounges at select airports.
"It is pleasing that we now can announce this agreement with Finnair for HomeRun-coverage, which will expand the availability of our WLAN-service further for our Nordic customers as part of Telia Mobile's Nordic strategy," said Kenneth Karlberg, President, Telia Mobile AB.
The HomeRun network will first be commissioned for the four Finnair Business Lounges at the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and to one Finnair lounge at the Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. Later, the network will also be extended to Skavsta Airport, Finnair's other destination in Sweden.
